In commemoration of the 175th Anniversary of the Fruitlands Utopian Community, Fruitlands Museum presents "In Their Own Words: Life in the Fruitlands Consociate Family."

This live performance incorporates written records from participants in the Fruitlands Consociate Family: Louisa May Alcott, Charles Lane, Anna Alcott, Abigail May Alcott, and Isaac Thomas Hecker, to tell the story of this historic transcendental community at the site where it took place. Travel back in time to 1843 to explore the story of Fruitlands from the optimistic arrival, to late season struggles, and the perseverance of ideals after disbanding.

Please pre-register to secure your spot in the audience for this special performance.
